Field Studies Club

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

A student from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, situated in northern California, aspired to establish a camping club on campus. In pursuit of this endeavor, he sought a distinctive logo suitable for conversion into a patch—an emblem commonly affixed to backpacks by avid hikers. Given the university's proximity to the picturesque mountainous landscapes of northern California, I crafted a logo encompassing various images reflective of the scenic vistas encountered by campers on their journeys.

Point of Doo

Podcast with Justin Doo and Nick Gervasi

Justin Doo and Nick Gervasi envisioned launching a podcast to delve into the intricacies of post-graduate life and the challenges of navigating the adult world. Leveraging Justin's surname, Doo, they aimed for a witty play on words with the title 'Point of Doo.' Entrusting me with the task, I designed a captivating logo featuring an iconic old-timey microphone to embody the essence of their podcast.

Since its inception, their podcast has garnered immense popularity, swiftly amassing a dedicated following among friends and family. Consistently recording an episode every week, they prominently feature the custom logo in their promotional materials. Capitalizing on their success, Justin and Nick introduced a line of merchandise, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats, all adorned with the distinctive podcast logo. The venture has not only resonated with their audience but has also become a tangible expression of their podcasting journey.
